Moisture may have entered the gear shift module (GSM) during assembly, which can cause the gear shift position indicator light to fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."
Consequence & Remedy
Consequence: A gear shift position indicator that fails to illuminate can make it difficult to identify the correct transmission gear position, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the GSM, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 2, 2025. Owners may contact Land Roverâs customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D054 and H566.
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Range Rover Sport and Range Rover vehicles. The panoramic sunroof side finisher trim may not be properly secured and can detach.
Consequence & Remedy
Consequence: A detached panoramic sunroof side trim can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the panoramic sunroof side finisher trim and secure it as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed April 21, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is D095.
